Babysitter's Spaghetti Casserole Hot

Ingredients

1 lb. Hamburger

2 Onions; chopped

2 Celery stalks; chopped

1 Green pepper; chopped

1 c. Tomatoes; 28 oz.

1 pkg. Spaghetti or other pasta

2 Tsp. Cheese; blue, crumbled (opt)

1/4 c. Cheese; grated


Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. In frying pan, brown meat, stirring till light brown and crumbly. Add onions, celery and green pepper. Cook for 3 min. Add tomatoes and simmer a few minutes. Add salt and pepper. Cook pasta; drain. In buttered 2 qt casserole, combine pasta, sauce and blue cheese. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in a 350F oven for 20 min.

Well the title certainly made me smile. I think pasta is the ultimate student/bachelor/busy parent food. You can cook it a few days in advance and it is extremely versatile. I lived on pasta during my college years and I never got sick of it. Just keep mixing fresh ideas and you have a filling, healthy meal!
