Ingredients
1/2 c. Butter1/2 c. Brown sugar
1 Tbs. Water
3 lg. Green apples
8 x Eggs
4 c. Milk
2 Tbs. Vanilla
6 slices To 12 slices bread, any type
Cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter, add sugar, and water milk and vanilla. Slice bread in halves and lay over apples to cover whole dish. Pour egg mixture over all making sure all the bread is wet. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake until golden brown and puffy about 40 to 50 minutes. This dish may be made the night before and reheated just prior to serving. -TRENTON TIMES-IRWIN E.SOLOMON
