3 c. Brown sugar3/4 c. Shortening
4 ea. Eggs
5 c. Flour
3/4 Tsp. Baking soda
3/4 Tsp. Cream tartar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Filling; cook together: 1 c. Dates
1/2 c. Nuts
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Water
Directions
