This cake recipe made me like coconut, and has remaine my favorite cake sense the early 70's. Then I lost the recipe and found it again in a recipe book called SOMEONE IN THE KITCHEN WITH FRED, submitted by
Joann Morgan.
Ingredients
1 pkg. yellow cake mix1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 can cream of coconut
1 carton Cool Whip
1 cup coconut (any style)
Directions
Bake cake as directions on package in a 9x13-inch pan.Mix Eagle Brand milk and cream of coconut.
poke holes in warm cake and pour mixture on warm cake. Top cake wiyh Cool Whip and coconut sprinkled on top.
