Tuna Pasta Casserole Hot

Ingredients

1 c. Frozen peas

1 can Condensed cream of celery soup

1/2 c. Milk

1/2 c. (2 oz) shredded Swiss cheese

1 can (6 1/2 oz) tuna, drained and flaked

2 c. Cooked corkscrew or other Macaroni (1 Cup uncooked)

2 ea. Hard boiled eggs, chopped

1/2 c. Crumbled potato chips


Directions

Place peas in small microwave-safe bowl. Cover with vented plastic wrap; Microwave on HIGH 1-2 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. In 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole, stir soup and milk until smooth. Stir in cheese. Fold tuna, macaroni, eggs and peas into soup mixture. Cover with lid; microwave on HIGH 5-7 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring once during cooking. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Sprinkle potato chips over casserole. NOTE: Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom can be substituted for the Cream of Celery Soup

Well I made this exactly as stated, until the end bit. At the end, I used a little extra grated cheese, some parmesan, and the broken potato chips. I sprinked all over the top, and then zapped it in the micro for another minute.

The result was a nice cheesy, tuna pasta bake. All done very quickly in the microwave.

My thai wife even liked it, and said I can make it again. And if you knew my wife, you would know thats a thumbs up! :)

I was thinking of adding pieces of tomatoes to this dish. I would cut them in half-circles. I think they would add a great visual element here as well.
