Im still looking for the perfect coney-dog recipe like they serve in Michigan. This is NOT it. It's just "o.k."'
DO NOT use good paprika in this recipe....if you have a good spanish paprika...nice and smokey...don't use it here. Use a mild, cheap brand here because otherwise the smoke flavor dominates.
One last note, the stuff from Michigan is most authentic when used with ground beef hearts that are simmered in water. I'm still working on the spices but this recipe isn't quite right.
