when I made this bread the dough did not rise very well. I ended up putting it in the oven as it preheated in desperation to get it to rise. Thankfully it worked. If I were to make this again (which i probably will) I would make sure I used warm water and allow the yeast to soften before adding the oat meal. I think that would help the yeast work better. I may decrease the oven temp a bit too but my oven is not known for being the temp that the setting says it is.
It tastes great though, even though it did not rise well. Also, I am not such a fan of crusty bread so I put some butter on the top of the bread after it finished cooking instead of the glaze.
