This is a classic!
I just love seeing desert recipes that are simple and easy to make. This one is a classic - no odd additives and just the needed ingredients. If any of you have tried this recipe, do share your results!
Kid-winner
I think I would like to try to bake this with younger cooks. The process is rather easy. I would try this with a regular hand-held beater (instead of an electric one). I think this would make a fun project. Has anyone tried this recipe yet?
Danish rolls
Well I'm glad to see another recipe for evaporated milk. I rather prefer it to fresh milk (hard to believe, I know) because it has such a nice, sweet flavor and can be prepared to be thicker or thinner than regular milk. Although you can thin out regular milk, you certainly can't make it more concentrated.
Onion-lover
I think finely diced onions would work wonders here instead of the raisins. I prefer onion flavor with cheese. Might even add oregano and make it half-Italian!!!
Looks easy to me
Looks like an easy one to try. My good neighbor just purchased her first bread machine and she is very excited to wake up to a fresh loaf each morning. She mentioned she wanted to try sourdough. I think I'll recommend this one to her. Thanks to whoever posted this one!
bread
I like a little more oil in bread. I think canola or butter would work just as well here. Not a fan of margarine.

These are the best bread-making instructions I have seen online for a while. What I would add to this is if you want the dough to rise quicker, put a blanket on top of the plastic before you set it aside to rise. It will keep the heat inside the dough. The mix of grains in this recipe must make a great texture.
Delish!
Make one for yourself as well as the kids - it looks so tasty! Wondering if I can sneak a veggie in there lol.
Great idea!
This is a wonderful idea, thank you for sharing. Kids love marshmallows and this has a great texture. What a nice recipe to add to my Halloween ideas!
Salmon all the way!
I love salmon, especially in soups. Salmon has a rich fish/seafood taste without being too overpowering. Naturally, I would recommend salmon isntead of the sealegs. If you want the soup to be thicker, add a bit of corn flour.
